Green technology means using smart tools and inventions to help take care of the Earth.

At the Afro Academy, we can think of green technology like this:

Green technology is science that helps people live better without hurting the planet.

For example:

Solar panels use sunlight to make electricity. That means we can power lights, computers, and homes using the sun.

Wind turbines use wind to make power. The wind spins big blades, and that creates electricity.

Electric cars use batteries instead of gasoline, so they make less smoke in the air.

Recycling machines help turn old paper, plastic, and metal into new things instead of throwing everything away.

Water-saving systems help gardens and farms use less water. This is important because water is precious.

Green buildings are made to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter without wasting energy.

So, green technology is like being a protector of the Earth. It helps us keep the air cleaner, save water, use less energy, and make the world healthier for people, animals, plants, and future children.

At the Afro Academy, we could say:

“Green technology is using our brains, science, and creativity to protect the Earth and build a better future.”
